Here's an elegant piano arrangement of the church hymn “We Plow the Fields and Scatter" which is suitable for the Thanksgiving / harvest season. The musical texture is inspired by the late-eighteenth century classical composers style such as Haydn and Mozart. The introduction is derived from the main motif of the piece and it sets the majestic tone for the rest of the arrangement. Throughout this arrangement the phrases will echo each other in different registers of the piano in order to create textural variety and keep the momentum going.
